Fabric

When possible, PATO strives to source fabrics sustainably using various methods.

Fabric information is listed with each product using the following definitions:

Deadstock: Fabric that a company bought or made but no longer able to sell. This can also be leftover fabric, sometimes with defects that a company can no longer use and therefore sold to smaller companies.

Fabric archive: Fabric that has been cleaned out from a personal fabric archive. Also known as destash fabric.

Vintage: Fabric made in a different era up to 30 years old.

Thrifted: Fabric found and purchased at a thrift store, flea market or garage sale.
