MISSION
Center and uplift the brilliance of local San Francisco POC creatives, artisans, and makers for the community to celebrate and support.
VISION
Prototype a curated holiday market pop-up featuring POC vendors across diverse categories such as apparel, accessories, culinary, lifestyle, skincare, art, jewelry and stationery.
ABOUT US
Irene (she/siya) is a mama-scholar who teaches Culture, Ethnic Studies, and Social Justice at USF’s Philippines Studies Program and SFSU’s Ethnic Studies Department for 15 years. Her professional lifeblood is storytelling, crafting counter narratives and the inclusion of voices who have been systemically left out either thru teaching, curatorial, or running a POC creative studio in SF.
Patricia (she/her) is the designer and maker of the accessories line, PATO, which specializes in 5-panel hats. Prior to PATO, she studied fashion at CCA, and later worked in fashion design and production.
She has lived in the Inner Richmond for over 20 years is also a proud public school parent, serving on the PTO board of her daughter’s elementary school.
She is a proud Asian/Latina.
JOIN US!
We are excited to announce that we are partnering with The Office of Small Business in their Shop DineSF Holiday Pop Up, along with the San Francisco Arts Commission, L&L and the San Francisco Chamber.
This year's holiday pop up will be held on Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th at the San Francisco Centre, where a whimsical holiday market ambience will animate the space under the Emporium, SF's historical dome.

Load-in will be during the morning of both days.

mercadito vendors are asked to apply by invite only. Please refrain from forwarding the email application link. If you wish to invite a friend, please send their contact info to marianne.thompson@sfgov.org. [Subject : Holiday Pop-up Mercadito Vendor Inquiry]Preference will be given to those vendors who can participate in BOTH days, but you may apply to participate in one day if you need. If you have received an email with the application link, please apply as soon as possible to secure your spot. Confirmation emails will be sent out November 8th. Participation Fee: FREE to apply and participate

OTHER INFO + CRITERIA
- Businesses must possess a valid business license in San Francisco.
- Businesses must have a website, Etsy shop, or active social media presence for their business.
- For food & beverage vendors-ONLY packaged food & beverages may be sold. There will be no food preparation on site.
- Each vendor will receive a table, chair and linens.
- Vendors are invited to bring their own display and signage.
- Overnight storage will be provided to vendors participating in both days.
- Parking is NOT provided.
